Taylor Momsen was born in the city of St. Louis Missouri. She is a famous American actor, model and singer. The most famous of her roles is her character Jenny Humphrey on the CW show Gossip Girl and as the main singer in the band The Pretty Reckless. Her music has been featured on television and film shows such as How to Be Single, Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen was born on July 26 1993. She is the younger sibling of Sloane Momsen who is also an actor. She studied dance at St. Louis' Center of Creative Arts. She began acting professionally aged three for a commercial that was aired in 1997 for Shake 'n Bake. Momsen's professional career in the industry was put off for three years, until she landed the leading role in the film Misconceptions. Momsen was also in Saving Shiloh, a 2006 movie. Additionally, she was one of three leading candidates for Hannah Montana's title role. But, Miley Cyrus was awarded the part.
